One of the great things about the moon is that one hemisphere is always bathed in sunlight (except for the occasional eclipse), so using solar panels to generate energy seems like a good idea. Now scientists have come up with the idea of laying 250-mile-wide solar panels at the moon's equator and reflecting the energy back to Earth.
This could produce a continuous flow of 1.3 gigawatts of energy. According to some data, the entire power generation capacity of the United States in one summer is 10,509,000 megawatts. And in the future such huge energy will be used for us.
