First, the main advantages of powder coating powder are:
1, powder coating powder does not contain organic solvents, to avoid the organic solvents brought about by fire, poisoning and unsafe transportation problems. Although there is a risk of dust explosion, as long as the dust concentration in the system is properly controlled, the explosion can be completely avoided;
2, there is no air pollution caused by organic solvents, in line with the requirements of preventing air pollution;
3. Powder coating powder is a 100% solid system, which can be used in a closed-circuit circulation system. Over-sprayed powder coating powder can be recycled and reused, and the utilization rate of coating can reach more than 95%;
4, powder coating powder resin molecular weight than the molecular weight of the solvent-based coating, so the performance and durability of the coating is greatly improved than the solvent-based coating;
5, powder coating powder in the coating, coating thickness can be controlled, a coating can reach 30 ~ 500μm thickness, equivalent to a few to a dozen coating thickness, reduce the amount of construction, not only conducive to energy saving, but also improve the production efficiency;

1. The manufacturing process of powder coating powder is more complex than that of general coating, and the manufacturing cost of coating is high;
2. The coating equipment of powder coating powder is different from that of general coating. The coating equipment of general coating can not be used directly.
3. The softening point of resin powder for powder coating powder is generally required to be above 80℃. When powder coating powder is manufactured by the melting method, the melting mixing temperature is higher than the softening point of resin, and the baking temperature during construction is higher than that during manufacturing. In this way, the baking temperature of powder coating powder is much higher than that of general coating. And can not be painted with large equipment and heat sensitive substrate;
4, powder coating powder thick coating is easier, but it is difficult to thin coating to the thickness of (15 ~ 30) μm, resulting in excess function, waste of material;

Nitrocellulose coating (NC)
Its advantages:
1, dry quickly. General paint drying time after 24 hours, and nitrocellulose paint as long as ten minutes to dry. In this way, construction time is greatly saved and work efficiency is improved.
2, the construction is simple. Nitrocellulose coating is a single component of the product, deployment only needs to add the right amount of water that can be sprayed.
3, luster stability: less affected by the environment.
The downside:
1, fullness is not enough. Because of the low solid content of nitro coating, it is difficult to form a thick film.
2, hardness is not enough. The hardness of nitro coating is generally BH.

Acid solid coating (AC)
Its advantages:
1. The paint film is hard and wear-resistant.
2. The heat resistance, water resistance and cold resistance of the film are very high.
3. Good transparency
4, good resistance to yellowing
The downside:
Because the paint contains free formaldehyde, the body injury to the builder is more serious, the vast majority of enterprises no longer use such products.

Unsaturated resin coating (PE)
Its advantages:
1, with good hardness, can reach more than 3H
2, top paint can make a very high gloss
3, wear resistance, acid and alkali resistance, good heat resistance
4, fullness is very high.
The downside:
1, the operation is more complex because the initiator and promoter need to be added to play a curing role. The amount of initiator and promoter should be changed according to the change of temperature and humidity. In addition, the initiator and promoter can not be mixed into the paint at the same time, otherwise it is easy to cause fire and explosion. There are strict requirements for blending paint.
2. The active period of the adjusted paint is very short, and the adjusted paint must be used up within 25 minutes.
3, PE surface paint at present only light products, no matt products.

Polyurethane coating (PU)
Its advantages:
1, fullness, hardness, transparency, have a better performance
2, stable performance, high product stability
3. It can cooperate with other paint varieties to make different performance effects. It is a kind of paint with excellent comprehensive performance. It's also the most widely used.
The downside:
1, the construction is worse than NC paint.
2, fullness, hardness is worse than PE paint

Ultraviolet curing coating (UV)
Its advantages:
1. One of the most environmentally friendly paint varieties at present
2, solid content is very high.
3, good hardness, high transparency
4, excellent resistance to yellowing
5. Long activation period
6, high efficiency, low painting cost (normally half of the conventional painting cost) is dozens of times the efficiency of conventional painting.
The downside:
1. Large investment in equipment is required.
2. Sufficient supply of goods is required to meet the production requirements. Continuous production can reflect its efficiency and cost control.
3. The effect of roller coating paint is slightly worse than PU coating products.
4. The roller coating product is required to be painted flat.

Water based paint (W)
Its advantages:
1. One of the most environmentally friendly paint varieties at present.
2, the construction is very convenient.
3, fast drying time, high construction efficiency.
4. Long activation period.
5, the paint film after drying, no smell.
The downside:
1, the film is relatively thin, fullness is not enough.
2, the hardness is not high.
3, the replacement of paint color, variety than the general paint trouble. When it is necessary to exchange colors frequently, the economy of production and construction of powder coating powder is seriously damaged, and the cleaning between colors is time-consuming. Powder coating powders are best suited for reasonably long running with powders of the same type and color.
